Castillos Islands view from the coast

 There are  3 group of islands in front of Rocha Departament Coast valids for IOTA, which belong to the SA039 Group.All are located very close to the Rocha coast and these groups are:

Islas de la Coronilla, located in front of La Coronilla, a small town with 600 inhabitants, has two islands, the main one is Isla Verde, which  is 700m long and 400m wide.The second one is Islote Coronilla which is 250m long and 150 mwidw.-

Islas de Castillo Grande, located in front of  Barra de Valizas.These group is also formed by two islands, called Seca and  del Marco.Both  islands are formed only by  granitic rocks, and the main one, Isla del Marco, is 315m long and 155m wide.-Left top picture.-

Islas Torres, this group is located in front of Cabo Polonio and are formed by three islands.-Isla Rasa is an important seals refugee, Isla Encantada is also plenty of seals (240m x 120m), and a very small island called El Islote.-Left bottom picture.-
