Uruguayan Islands valids for IOTA

  SA030 Group (Montevideo,Canelones and San José Departaments Islands)

There are a few small Islands located in front of San José,Montevideo and Canelones coast Departamenrts,like Isla del Tigre in  San José or La Tuna and others in front of Canelones, but the most important island of this SA030 Group is Flores Island, which is located in front of Montevideo, only 10 miles from the coast. Flores is a small island  1700m long and 400m wide, and was very important in the second middle of the  XIX Century and in the beggining of the XX Century as a hospital.Most of constructions of the island are in ruins, exept those are still used for the Uruguayan navy and the ligthouse, which was built in 1828.-
