This island was activated on 1991 as 12AT-CX

Gorriti Island

Gorriti is a small island located only 2 km.south-west from Punta del Este harbour and has 1300m long per 350 m wide.It has also some historics builds because it was a very important and fortificated harbour in the colonial past.-Today is a very nice beach and all days is visited by 2000 tourist in summer time.-On the south part of the island is located a small harbour and  there are more than 150 boats all days-
